The NHMS toddler program is a nurturing Montessori educational community. The children are engaged by real life activities, using beautiful, child-sized materials that foster their emerging independence.  The toddler environment is designed to honor the young child’s natural need for movement, sensory experience, and meaningful work.

Toddlers may enroll in a half-day or all-day Montessori program.

Half-day ends at 11:45; all-day ends at 3:15 or 6:00.

In the 2006-07 school year, NHMS hopes to begin offering a series of workshops for parents to attend with their infants to facilitate their understanding of child development.
